Unique Experiences
I've been investing in unique shared experiences for the last 25+ years. It started with my wife and includes our family, our friends and our kids. I'm hoping the memory of these shared experiences will provide long lasting memories (for decades) for not only me but my family and friends. These types of adventures / activities / events are great but true happiness comes from also being present for the small, everyday activities.

Passion for outdoors and exploration
From trekking into Uganda’s "Impenetrable Forest" to visit silverback gorillas in the wild, to climbing Whistler in Canada via Ferrata and witnessing the "Big 5" on safari in Tanzania. From jeeping in Moab to hiking/exploring in Olympic and Arches National Parks, horseback riding in RMNP to marveling at natural wonders like the Northern Lights and Yellowstone’s geysers. Whether I am snowmobiling at the cabin, horse-back riding, kayaking, or simply finding a quiet trail, these experiences reflect desire to explore and connect directly with nature.

Passion for live entertainment
From the legendary "Face to Face" dueling pianos of Elton John and Billy Joel to modern spectacles featuring U2 and Ed Sheeran. On the theatrical stage, musicals from the history-making Hamilton on Broadway and the classic Les Misérables to festive traditions like the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. From iconic venues like Red Rocks to MN state fair concerts, we enjoy experiencing live performances with friends and family.

Sporting Events
Passion for the live action of sports
From watching USA win the Ryder Cup, to attending Superbowl XLV and experiencing the "Minnesota Miracle", we enjoy watching iconic moments firsthand. Season ticket holder for MN Vikings and MN Timberwolves, to hot passes and being in the pits during a Nascar race, to watching Chelsea beat one of their Premier League rivals in London, we tend to prioritize these type of unique experiences with friends and family.

Other Unique Experiences
Micro-experiences
Beyond the major travel and ticketed events, I also cherish unique "micro-experiences". This list includes things like seeing my face on the Nasdaq tower in Times Square, but also brewing beer with friends, and competing in curling league, dining at a chef’s table with friends, juggling, or simply contemplating life from a hammock, there are many other moments (both big and small) that are also part of my life story.

Global Trip Map
work and personal travel
Travels have brought me across North America, Europe, East Africa, Southeast Asia, Central America and Australia. Majority of travel has been in United States but also Western Europe (UK, France, Germany), Tanzania, Uganda, Malaysia/Singapore, and Australia.

National and State Parks
US and Abroad
One of our favorite activities is experiencing God's creation in nature and that includes hiking and exploring in various state parks (11) and national parks (13) in the United States. We have also been to 6 national parks in Africa including Seregeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater (Tanzania) and Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (Uganda).
